The Call of Duty franchise has been in a state of flux over the course of the past year. Last year’s WWII was meant to be the return to the series’ roots that the community had been clamoring for for years, but it ended up being simply good and not the great revamp that everyone was hoping it would be. On top of that, Fortnite has taken the world by storm with its battle royale mode, making it the most popular game in the world right now. In the past, you’d hear people always talking about Call of Duty and see friends lists filled with people playing the latest game in the franchise. It dominated YouTube in a way that no game before it did. Continue reading

Superhero games have important jobs to fulfill. They have to put you in the shoes of the character and make you believe that you actually are this person. They need to deliver a story that takes some of the best parts of the character’s comic history, and mashes it all together in a package that at the very least is a fun ride to go on. If things are going to end here though after two episodes, things are ending on a strong note, albeit one that ends with a cliffhanger. Continue reading

Now That Was An Awesome Win I Pulled Off

When I play games online, I typically don’t have too many clutch moments. That’s mostly because I don’t typically play objective game types. Last night though I was playing some Destiny 2: Forsaken and had by far my best clutch moment that I can think of.

After I made that play and secured the round for my team, I was so shocked by what happened. It all happened so fast that it took me a moment to really comprehend what I had just done. I was impressed and amazed with myself since I’m solid in Destiny PvP, but definitely not the best. So pulling off a clutch win like that is something that I’m definitely going to celebrate and be proud of for quite some time. Too bad we still lost the overall match.
